NATURE!!!

On Friday, the girls and I took a road trip to Starved Rock State Park. We spent the entire day (6 hours) hiking the paths and playing in the waterfalls. It was really enjoyable and beautiful (As long as you forget (which we like to) the chafing and blisters). Lets just say we got our fill of nature for a while. I also got some color too, which is really the accomplishment for the beginning of May. Normally only the hot sun in June and July can pull that off. 

Lastly, I got a MacBook on Thursday!!!! So this is the first post from my new, amazing, perfect computer :)

New Additions

Three great new additions have made their way into my house.....actually my kitchen while I've been away. 

1:: My new tapestry (From UrbanOutfitters) I love the way it complements the red colors on the posters in the kitchen, and the way it covers all the dirty paint and leftover tape that I could not get off that wall. Definitely my new favorite purchase.

2:: My new plant that I originally forgot at home two months ago. I'm so glad my parents managed to keep it alive :) And of course the new pot joins in the red theme I'm going for. Something about the color red which just creates this warm cozy feeling in my apartment.

3:: The new line of kitchen and bathroom cleaners that I am obsessed with! They are made without any harsh chemicals and it an all natural product. AND it smells heavenly. I love the bathroom one that smells like mint. It makes me want to clean my bathroom all the time
