I am so excited for this weekend! Tylor, Liz, Jordan and I are taking a day trip to the Milwaukee Public Museum. I cannot wait to take pictures and show you guys one of the great attractions in my favorite city ever.

Why Do I Do It?

     I thought I would take time out this week to talk about why I started this blog back in October. Besides the fact that I had just started to get my life together, and found that I had loads of free time, I also started to read the writing of some truly talented women that inspired me to follow in their footsteps. I guess my hope is that if other women read my blog, they will be inspired like me. I work to  help them in some way, whether it be by offering a young girl personable advice or by giving my opinion on makeup options or clothing stores. I love the idea that I can impact people all the way across the United States, or even all over the world from my tiny one bedroom apartment in Milwaukee, WI.


The internet is such an amazing place, full of new and exciting information and opinions. It has opened up so many doors for our world. People can now learn basically anything they want with the single click of a button. What to know which camera to invest in? How long to cook the 6 lb roast for dinner tonight? How to repaint that old dresser set you hate? It can all be found on the internet. That is a wonderful concept! I feel so blessed to be able to be a part of such a magnificent compilation of knowledge. 


Now some might claim that bloggers only write online to gain a following, gather sponsors, and make a ton of money. Some further claim, especially with fashion and lifestyle bloggers, that they only wear the things they wear because they are making money for it and therefore are biased in their reviews. This may be true about some bloggers, but I know that I have no such motivations. {I have the student loans to prove it} My pure intention is to spread my ideas, opinions, and what knowledge I can claim to have at 20. 


Hope you all didn't mind me getting a bit serious for a second......It felt kinda good :)

I do not know what happens but sometimes I will log on just to check in on new pins, and then all of a sudden I'm still on the computer two hours later asking myself what I've been doing for all that time......

Happy Hour

My friends and I attended a fabulous cocktail party hosted by our friend Julia <3

There were lemon drop martinis, lots of yummy sugar cubes, a wonderful showing of "Drop Dead Gorgeous" {A movie mocking beauty pageants}and a long and hilarious game of Catch Phrase.
